Supporting people in Suffolk
Accommodation for Teenage Parents
Supporting People is a central Government programme,
which was introduced in April 2003.
Supporting people pay for housing related support services
which are aimed at helping people live independently
in their homes.

Supporting people in Suffolk work with
two providers of accommodation for teenage parents within
Babergh, Ipswich and St Edmundsbury Distrcit Council
areas.
The two providers are English Churches and Colchester
Quakers.

Anglia Care Trust will:

homelessness for those who
may be at risk
• Assist with employment, training
and education for those who have
been socially excluded and their
families. Resettle offenders and
ex-offenders and support them in
order that they may contribute to
the community in which they live.
The Counselling service is a
professional service available
to a wide range of service users
to assist them in managing
predominant problems in
their lives, including:
• domestic violence
• coping with anxieties for those
released from prison
• anger management
• early childhood abuse
• significant trauma
• personality disorders
• self-harm
• various levels of depression
• relationships and family work
• bereavement

Coastal Homeless Action Group (CHAG) is a local charity
which gives free support to those who are homeless or
could become homeless. We can guide you through the
homeless and benefit minefield and give you back some
choices to help you live independently. |
